Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fourth-grade students are full of creativity and curiosity. My classroom is full of diverse learners who would all benefit from this couch. Please help me enhance our reading corner with this reading corner couch. Currently my students either read on the rug or at their desks. I would love to give my students a comfortable spot to read with their peers. I want them to reconnect, sit comfortably, and close to one another when sharing books. Fostering a sense of community of learners and giving them options of sitting in their seats, on the rug, or on a cozy couch would be amazing! There is nothing better than curling up with a good book, but that is often hard to do in school.

Each morning my students arrive with smiles on their faces and eager to learn.

Please help support their eagerness and curiosity through supporting this project. Promoting a love for books is a top priority. My goal is to create a comfortable library section in the classroom.
