My Students
I work with 5th graders who have emotional disabilities. What I love about my students is that dispite their disability, when they build great relationships with their peers and the staff in our program, they demonstrate so much creativity and other intelligences. My students can experience so much more of their intelligence with the proper resources. When engaged in independent work, my students can be easily distracted or become overwhelmed with tasks that may be too challenging for them. When assignments are engaging students can focus better on the task at hand.
My Project
My students just received their Amazon Fire 7 tablets to reinforce learning in the classroom. These tablets are very valuables items in the class and need to be protected at all times. These rubber cases will protect their devices while moving around the class. Students will not only be using the tablets at their desks but also moving around into their small groups or paired reading areas in the classroom. These devices are very costly and are not easy to replace if damaged. With these cases we can safely use the devices around the classroom while securing the screens from being damaged
