This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to give all of my kindergartners a Pete the Cat reading buddy at the end of the school year. They have worked so hard to learn how to read. I would like to show them that if you work hard and practice you can do anything. I hope this reading buddy will help them to continue to practice reading at home. I want to continue to create a love for reading and literature for each of my students. Kindergarten is such an important time to create a love for reading.
