Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

No matter what grade, students love to have a reading buddy, especially when they are not confident reading to a partner or aloud to the class. A "reading buddy" helps students when they read their newly selected library book, or when they are too shy to read.

I have seen my second graders benefit from the comfort and joy that comes with the plush animals we have in the classroom library.

These stuffed animals will be loved by every student in my classroom, so it is important that I regularly replace the older ones. the spice racks will me display the stuff animal with the appropriate book, that way students can ready it together. and the ziplog bags will help store things in the classroom library.
