Welcome to Mrs. M.’s library media center. My students range from grades K-5. In the library, they not only develop the love of reading but also learn digital citizenship, research skills, and how to work collaboratively on projects.
My school was honored to receive the 2017 National Blue Ribbon of Education Award.
Our students and staff are very proud of this achievement. I truly believe we have fabulous students, teachers, staff, and parents.
I am always looking for ways to develop meaningful learning opportunities for my students. My library media center provides my students with a place where they can develop the life long love of reading and learning. I provide a high level of instruction and enrichment while meeting the needs of individual learning styles and differences at all grade levels.
Every year, on or around March 2nd, we celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday as Read Across America Day. On this day, all students read together and are brought together by a love of reading. Through the many books of Dr. Seuss, children are reminded of kindness, inclusion, and acceptance of each other.
To make this year a memorable occasion, I would like to be able to give every student a momento that celebrates the bond made by our love of reading.
On Read Across America Day, we will all enjoy listening, reading, and spending time together to promote reading and unity at our school.
