This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are amazing! Each student have their own personalized ties and characteristics. I have a total of 52 students. Some have autism while others are emotionally disturbed. My students are limited verbal but with the right materials and motivation, I believe my students social and vocabulary will expand.
I would like for my students to have the chance and improve their reading comprehension skills and anything that has to do with increasing their reading level!
By having the correct materials that would help them and motivate them. Also, reading to them during live sessions they can be more comfortable rather than having someone else read to them as in youtube or storyline.com
Characteristics, personality, and motivation as well as being eager to learn is what makes my students special.
My students are hard working students who wants to learn and I feel lucky to have them in my sessions. I love making up lessons for all of my students, making sure they benefit in every way by learning through reading.
My Project
These materials will enhance and improve their reading comprehension skills. As well as their lexicon and communication skills. These materials will also help them because I will make sure to read to them virtually every day for at least 20 minutes a day. The importance of reading is essential and most of my students don't have books in their home! Or sometimes parents don't have the time to read to their child.
Reading these books to students at least virtually can help students improve their comprehension, fluency and communication skills!
