Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students at my school are culturally responsive, goal-driven and enthusiastic learners. They love to collaborative, ask questions, make inferences, problem solve and reflect on their cross-curricular learning.
Equipping the classroom with chapter BOOKS and musical INSTRUMENTS will create a multi-faceted and engaging learning experience that deepens students' learning of the story while also developing their emotional, creative and cognitive development.
Combining MUSIC with LITERATURE stimulates different learning styles. My auditory learners will benefit from the use of rhythmic music, while my VISUAL and KINESTHETIC learners can engage through MOVEMENT and DRAMA. Integration of MUSIC through LITERATURE will inspire CREATIVITY, CURIOSITY, and a LOVE for LEARNING.
