Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Beginning readers thrive on repetition. Middle readers have mastered the repetition and are using the high frequency words to read stories with a beginning, middle, and end. These books will help my students to read with sight words, phonics, and phonological awareness.
Leveled readers at the middle range of reading will provide my students with a challenge to improve their reading abilities with books that meet their abilities and push them just a little bit more to improve.
Having 7 sets of these books allows me to work with a small group of children to build their confidence and reading abilities.
