This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my Kindergarten English language students have mastered identifying letters, mastering letter sounds, and reading CVC words. They truly love looking at stories and trying to read books that they have exposure to in the classroom. Many of the books they currently look at and read support their current skills.
However, they are in need of more books to continue challenging their reading development.
Some of my students need higher leveled reading books to add to their library, support their reading growth, and challenge themselves to want to read more.
