This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a teacher in a low-income high poverty school district, my students are faced with several obstacles both in and out of the classroom. Many of my students have parents that work 2 or more jobs. I believe that having a positive relationship with each family is vital for a student to succeed. I love to see my students smile when they have successes, nothing else compares to that feeling. My students will change the world!
My Project
I personally just purchased a leveled library for my classroom. My students need to have access to an organized level library. It is very important for students to read books at their level. How can they easily find them if they are not organized? I want to maximize instructional minutes by creating a space were students can quickly grab a book to read.
Help get my scholars on track to being grade level readers!
We know that the time we missed in school due to the pandemic has created a gap in learning. Join me in maximizing my instructional minutes, and my scholars access to their leveled library.
