My Project
This reading area will be separate from the whole group rug time. This is will be beneficial when a student is needing a break or needing to calm down during instruction. They can go rest in the quiet and separate space. Having a book shelf where students can see the books available will catch their eye and perhaps get them interested in reading. The extra storage bins will be great for other quiet center activities such as; puzzles, lacing cards and felt story activities. Sometimes the right environment is all that is needed.
