When the students saw me open the boxes that my donations came here they were so curious. I do teach first grade so at this age they still love getting presents. When I opened the box it had their cushions plus a math game they wanted to play right away. Of course I told them we would!!!\r\n\r\nSo first they all wanted a cushion to sit on and each of them already had the color they wanted picked out. I told them these where them to keep at their sits all the time and could use them when they wanted. They also take the cushions to the carpet when do our work from there. They love these cushions and use them all the time.\r\n\r\nSo cam our first time to play the math game \"Pop\". At first they thought it was a gum ball machine because of the box looks like gum balls. So I made teams and explained to them how to play the game. It started off rough, but they soon got the hang of it and absolutely love this game. They ask me to play it all the time. I love this game because it helps them learn addition and subtraction. I also change up how I decide who wins the game, so they never know and it keeps them on their toes. \r\n\r\nI want to thank you so much for the donations and helping my students become better at math!!!","fullyFundedDate":1734715843873,"projectUrl":"project/make-math-magical/8904746/","projectTitle":"Make Math Magical!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stevens","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9816856"},{"teacherId":9588455,"projectId":8949928,"letterContent":"Thank you for supporting my students in the many activities we had on Read Across America Week. \r\n\r\nWe kicked off with a Book Tasting Party to celebrate his birthday!
