My Project

As a teacher who loves literature and lives for the next book to come out in a series, I want to instill that same type of love for my students. I am so excited about the magnetic sentence strips because they will help students be more engaged and make it easier to build and change sentences they are working on.

Also, the Wit and Wisdom program has been introduced into our district as our literacy program to help students gain better comprehension and the hand held white board will make quite a few of the activities easier and more fun to engage in.

My students are amazing, but come from a variety of different economic demographics that vary from low to mid income levels and so they struggle a little more. I want to make the opportunity for literacy for all my students and all future students by using equipment such as the sentence strips, hand-held white boards, and page protectors will allow more student engagement and participation.
