This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I plan to use the black binders to keep the students' concert music organized and accessible. It's hard to keep random binders organized, so I will label each binder with their name and slot number for safe keeping. Giving everyone the same binder also looks great when performing!

The dry erase boards, markers and erasers will be used while we are learning to write music.

Having something that each student can keep in their slot with their binder gives them a tool that can be used while we are working on music theory. They can practice drawing notes and rests, and can use those notes and rests to learn about intervals, chord structure, and musical form.
