This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One of the best ways to encourage students to read and write is to do so as a group. Sitting on the classroom rug with books and clipboards in hand is the best way for students to apply what they're learning.
Help me create a group reading and writing center so we can grow a community of readers and writers. We will use the clipboards, pencils, markers, and erasers to respond to stories that we share together and to write our own. We will gather as a class daily using these materials and they will become an integral part of our classroom routines.
