Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
These resources will help promote reading independently and build writing skills. The book bins will allow the students to have books that are on their reading levels, that they are able to comprehend. They can then use their writing journals to answer comprehension questions and summarize their reading.
The journals will also allow for students and teachers to write to each other during reading to better understand what is being taught and read in the classroom.
The students in grades 3-5 can build on their constructive responses when reading and responding to questions.
