My Project

I teach first grade at a Title I school in the Delta area of Arkansas. My students come from a low-social ,economical environment. I have students with all different types of backgrounds but they have one thing in common. THEY LOVE SCHOOL!!!

I encourage my students to read daily.

Reading helps my students see what the world has to offered. It takes them places they have never seen or heard of. It allow them to use their imagination.

These scoop rockers are perfect for reading. I have 3 of them and the students argue over them constantly. They are a big hit while reading.
