My Project

My students and I are starting a new phonics program this year with Hello Literacy. I am working to put materials together for students to use during our small group instructional time. We will be using Lit Kits during small group reading and students will need a few additional supplies like books, spelling activities, and storage boxes to store items to help get centers going for word work and phonics skills.

Our new phonics and reading programs will allow my students to have more exposure to important decoding and encoding skills to become better readers and writers!

During centers, students will be doing word work stations and reading centers. They will be able to use the magnetic letters and sand to build words and use the Disney books with CDs to listen to stories. My students will develop a love for learning through exploring with engaging materials!
