My Project

These books will continue to enhance the print rich material in our school library. Our library is a place all students really enjoy. Here they can choose books that are relevant up-to-date and of interest to them personally. Many students are interested in sports and these titles will enhance their opportunities to not only enjoy reading but also learn how math is applied in the sports field. All of these books have been chosen with our students in mind-there are lower level readers as well as higher levels to truly grab the attention of all students.

With these new sports books, our students will be able to choose from a variety of different reading level materials that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level and then apply those skills in their regular classroom.

The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these high interest books will continue to help our students grow stronger in reading. Our students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
