This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a very diverse group of students. They come from a disadvantaged neighborhood compared to the other students in the school district. About 98% of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch. If students and families cannot afford materials for school, our school does an amazing job of supporting the families.

My students are very eager to learn and love coming to school every day.

I want to be able to give my students the best possible education they can, and give the students all the support possible to be successful in school.

My Project

These reading and math interactive games will allow the students to feel as if they are playing, when they are really learning. I also have materials that will allow me to organize the classroom so the students can have easy access to all the items and can work on their own.

The interactive reading games will allow students to practice their spelling and sentence building skills.

The math games will help the students with addition and subtraction. In kindergarten we strive for the students to be fluent in addition and subtraction facts. These games will hopefully help the students strengthen their skills.
