I have a group of 25 inquisitive kindergartners. Our school is part of an amazing community and we all work together to ensure each student loves learning. I have a diverse group of students, ranging in ages from 4 to 6 years old.
They love to create, explore, play and work together.
They are eager to learn and love hands-on experiences. They are energetic and inquisitive and full of wonder. Every day they come to school full of wonder and ready to learn.
My Project
My students need materials for hands-on learning experiences in both reading and in math. In both reading and math, we do centers daily. The students get a chance to work independently and in small groups on skills they are mastering.
These reading and math center materials will help to keep the students engaged and excited about their learning.
The Pop and Learn Game will help reinforce skills such as letter and number identification. The sequencing cards and other math games will help the students to practice skills on sequencing and some on composing and decomposing numbers to 20. These skills will help make the students successful in kindergarten and help them love learning!
