I have a group of 25 inquisitive kindergartners. Our school is part of an amazing community and we all work together to ensure each student loves learning. I have a diverse group of students, ranging in ages from 4 to 6 years old.
They love to create, explore, play and work together.
They are eager to learn and love hands-on experiences. They are energetic and inquisitive and full of wonder. Every day they come to school full of wonder and ready to learn.
My Project
We do reading and math centers daily in Kindergarten, and my students need fun and engaging activities to do. These are centers that the students will be able to do independently that will reinforce skills they are learning in class. The CVC dice, word building puzzle, and phonemic awareness literacy games will allow my students to practice reading skills, as they learn to decode and recode words, as well as their phonemic awareness skills.
The math centers will give my students hands-on and engaging activities to do.
They will allow the students to explore and hold the 3D shapes. It will make their learning more meaningful.
