Reading and letter sound manipulatives for learning

Help me give my students manipulatives and games for learning and active engagement! My students need these cvc word cards to help them build there reading fluency and basic letter sounds.

My Students

This has been a difficult year for myself and my students. I am a special education teacher in charge of 38 students. All of which have disabilities ranging from moderate to severe. Because of this, I am in need of more hands on supplies for their learning experience.

My Project

These materials that I have ordered have a happy home in my classroom. I ordered these specific items to assist my students with reading and math so they are can be actively engaged. I prefer whenever possible to give them games and things that they can see touch and hear rather then paperwork. My students are special needs so they need the sensory while they are learning. We are approaching Christmas time already and we have much learning to do. These tools not only assist with my students, but I as the teacher love teaching with them as well! My students will be able to practice CVC words and letter sounds while having fun at the same time. The magnet letters will help them to spell words and the fishing for sight words, well who doesn't like to fish and read at the same time. Many of my students struggle with blends and diagraphs so what better to learn them than by playing a matching game. I am so excited to see my students become better readers!
