My Project

My students get sent to my school on disciplinary transfer from their neighborhood schools due to behavior issues. Unfortunately, many of the books in standard reading lists are not relatable to my students. Because of this, I've been working to build a classroom library full of books that the kids can connect with, which has increased reading and literacy in my classroom.

Through this project, I hope to expand my library even more and get some new scented putty and fidgets to help students stay calm and focused while they read.

I hope that this project will further increase the number of students reading and focused in my classroom.
