My Project
I am seeking funding to expand the print-rich environment of my classroom through the addition of thoughtfully selected books that support both academic growth and social-emotional learning. This project is designed with the specific needs of my students in mind, aiming to enhance their literacy skills while fostering empathy and kindness.
Through years of classroom experience, I have observed that many students would benefit from literature that not only strengthens reading and writing abilities but also encourages emotional growth.
The book "Wonder" included in this proposal has been carefully chosen to help students explore complex emotions, recognize the value of kindness, and apply these lessons to real-life situations.
Reading is a fundamental component of academic success, and consistent exposure to quality literature is one of the most effective ways to improve reading proficiency. These books will provide students with meaningful, engaging content that promotes both literacy development and positive character education.
By funding this project, you will be supporting an initiative that equips students with essential academic skills while also nurturing their emotional well-being—both of which are critical for lifelong success.
