This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to enhance my classroom library by adding titles that will support my students and their social-emotional needs. It is so important that I have books that represent the many feelings and interactions that my students may encounter while improving their Growth Mindset.

With the use of these books, I will be able to provide my students the opportunity to express their feelings and their development of a Growth Mindset.

It is important that my students are able to relate to characters that also have similar feelings and experiences. These helps create an environment where my students would felll better talking about their social-emotional needs.
