My students are eager, motivated and excited to learn. I have a classroom that consist of 5 and 6 year old Kindergarteners that for some, this is their first time in a school setting. Many of my students come to school with limited social skills and vocabulary to thrive in an educational setting. They have great attendance and smiling faces as they enter my classroom each morning. They are positive and happy every day. Although they are missing so many skills, their hard work is evident in all they do. Our school is a Math, Science and Technology Magnet with a supportive community. We have wonderful parent support however their abilities are limited due to a lack of fluency in the English language. Some parents are also limited financially so exposure to today's technology and hands on experiences are limited.
