Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Currently I am teaching an ICT class (general ed, with students with disabilities and English language learners). We are a low income/ high poverty level school and high immigrant population. The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them.-Mark Twain
My students desire to learn but with the right resources.
We are currently a focus school and with help we can get out of being one. My kids love to learn in an environment they can call "home."
My Project
I am requesting beanie bag chairs, file sorters, and molding clay. These items will allow my students to have their own personal space to build stamina, organization and creativity.
My desire is to mold the next Mark Twains and Davincis!
No dream should have any limits!
Every kid needs a space to call their own. Even if it is for 30 minutes a day. Every child desires some type of recognition so sorting their master pieces will provide them with that opportunity. What child does not want to showcase their artistic abilities or build on them. Building our next future leaders!
