This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Reading has always been a pathway to creativity, imagination, and adventure within the classroom. When students reach fourth grade they are able to reach a level of reading which allows books to take them to magical places.
My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
Students are able to discover that love for reading that will hopefully last with them for a lifetime. This way we are able to have the chance of more reading, more creativity, and more conversations about the stories we uncover.
As students explore new worlds while reading they can explore areas they want to learn, be it laying down on the floor, sitting at their desk, or standing at our new standing desk. Thank you for your donations and helping grow adventures in our classroom.
