My Project

As a school librarian, I am always looking for fun reading activities that match up with the books I read to the students each week. I don't want activities created by a company that is just doing the minimum amount of effort but want ones that are made by hard-working and creative teachers working hard to make learning fun!

Materials that are created by teachers are the ones that motivate students to read, think, and have fun while doing so and are the ones that I want to use with my students!

Teachers Pay Teachers is a website where these activities are found and purchased from dedicated teachers who have done the work and are now sharing what they created to benefit other teachers and students. They know what works! I want to be able to buy activities that match the books I am reading and that are also fun ways to cover my state's reading standards.

I have the BEST students because they come to school ready to learn and participate fully in class. They deserve the best materials and learning activities available. I want to do that for them because I truly believe learning should be FUN and ENGAGING! Those types of things motivate and excite the students to want to learn!
