My Students

Fourth grade is a huge year for kids to grow and explore the world. My students are extremely curious and kind humans who love to learn about others and the world. They love to use hands-on materials to understand difficult concepts and to problem solve. Within my classroom, we have over a dozen languages and cultures represented. Our classroom diversity provides an amazing environment for us all to learn from each other every day. As a community, we strive to think critically and treat one another with respect and kindness! It is essential that we have the community materials we need to learn and grow together.

My Project

4th graders want to learn about the world! They are so curious about different countries, space, the environment, and the idea of government.

Time For Kids Magazine will give my students access to current events learning that will spark community discussions and further research all year long!

We will use Time For Kids to learn about different topics like climate change, activism, and scientific discovery. These articles will support us closely read a text, consider the author's perspective, and ask questions to drive more learning. The magazine subscription will give each student access that they can share with their families at home.
