My Project

Do you love to read about scary places? Our students do. Our school library really needs updating on our nonfiction books. I am requesting books about the scariest places on earth like Alcatraz, the Paris Catacombs, Transylvania, etc. My students love these types of books. I can't even keep these on our shelves. The library only gets a small amount of money for books a year. We can use all the books we can get!

Nonfiction books help build comprehension skills and interests in reading.

Reading nonfiction books will help our students' comprehension, fluency, and other reading skills needed to help them with state testing. Our students also use reading for a mental break to jump into a new world through books. Thank you for your support for our school's library!
