This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Math is all around us. But words are infused throughout the lesson. Reading math is so important because it is in all of student lessons. The goal of this project is to introduce my early readers books that center around math terms.

Why not include math and reading in one enjoyable concept.

Nowadays children are not just focusing on numerical values in math class. They are exposed to the words related to the math terms. These books will make the math terms pop off the page and students will increase vocabulary knowledge while learning various concepts, some using real world concepts, of math terms.
