This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting a subscription to Reading A to Z. My students need continued additional exposure to nonfiction and leveled texts. This online subscription will help to foster small group and independent reading endeavors.

By giving students the tools they need to be successful with nonfiction, they will gain more confidence in their abilities and therefore find a love and passion for nonfiction reading.

This is an essential part of their education. Nonfiction skills are a vital part of their reading success. This genre of reading is one in which students will spend the most time with throughout the rest of their academic and adult lives. Let's get them ready!
