Students in my classroom love to collaborate, create and experiment together. We love working together and creating a classroom community of learners. We listen to each other when we have struggles. We laugh together when our experiments don't work just like we'd planned! We share our questions when we are learning something new.
Most of all, in our classroom we are a family.
We spend our days learning as much as we can in the most fun way possible!
My students aren't just mine for a school year, they are mine for life. We build relationships that last all through their school careers and hopefully beyond.
These books will help my students learn about the importance of character education. We will discuss acceptance, manners, patience, setting goals, and helping others overcome challenges.
There are so many great books on this list to help teach these concepts.
"Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun" teaches about having the courage to be yourself.
"Even Superheroes Have Bad Days" teaches how to cope with emotions.
Digital citizenship is the focus of "Technology Tail".
Perseverance is the focus of "Rosie Revere, Engineer".
These are just a few of the amazing text options available to help teach our children these complex topics.
