My Students

Fourth grade is a huge year for kids to grow and explore the world. My students are extremely curious and kind humans who love to learn about others and the world. They love to use hands-on materials to understand difficult concepts and to problem solve. Within my classroom, we have over a dozen languages and cultures represented. Our classroom diversity provides an amazing environment for us all to learn from each other every day. As a community, we strive to think critically and treat one another with respect and kindness! It is essential that we have the community materials we need to learn and grow together.

My Project

"Can we have more reading time?" "Can I take this book home to finish?" "Do you have a book about...?" My 4th grade students LOVE to read! 4th grade is such an essential year for reading and we need graphic novels to keep our reading excitement going strong!

Since graphic novels are so fun and engaging to read, students build a strong reading foundation and see themselves as readers!

Great graphic novels and books are the key to creating this foundation.

A love of reading starts now with great books! My goal is to ensure that every student feels successful and excited about reading this year.
