Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Ventris Learning is the University of Florida Literacy Institutes' publishing partner for the new Foundations teacher manual. I am asking for the teaching manual for our primary grade levels to use for tier 1 and tier 2 phonics instruction. It will also support 3rd grade tier 2 phonics instruction. Tier 1 is whole class instruction and tier 2 would be small group instruction for intervention or enrichment.
We are seeing an strong need for students to have explicit instruction in decoding texts which UFLI is built to establish and support.
This is an all-in-one resource that can hit many different skills good readers need. Thank you for your consideration in helping to fund my project. This would be amazing tool for our teachers that would provide consistency in routines and instruction across grade levels which will help students as they change grades each year.
