This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students come from a diverse background yet the books we currently have does not represent then. I want to give them books where they can see themselves and feel good that they are being represent.
As a International Baccalaureate School we teach students to be inquirers and open-minded individuals.
To see the world through different lens and books that they can relate to will be a start. They are risk takers, inquirers and explorers. The books will open a world of possibilities. The right book will open their minds.
