Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how my students have enthusiasm about reading books. They especially enjoy reading on the floor, and I want them to be comfortable when doing so. Currently we have just a few pillows and plushies for students to use during Nevada Reading Week.
Read, lead, succeed!
This is my desire for my students. They deserve to experience the joy of reading while relaxing. The impact this would have is possibly increasing my students' reading fluency and stamina.
A proficient reader is confident and more likely to become a future leader.
