Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I really love my group of third graders! They are sweet, kind, and very respectful. They also love to read and write! They have a high interest in reading but many don't have quality books to read at home. I would really like to give my students the opportunity to have books they can take home to read and enjoy with their families. Reading is such a crucial part of everyone's life. Having new books to fill my library with would be such a blessing.

My Project

These books are a collection of the most requested books by teachers. I would love to add these to my classroom library, especially because they are hardcover books. The soft cover books I have now are falling apart after so much daily use. My students absolutely love to read, and having these books to add to my own collection would be amazing!

The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.

The hardcover selections are filled with classic literature that I know the students would greatly enjoy! My students love to read books and then test on them on our Accelerated Reading program. This would aid them greatly in increasing comprehension.
