Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school motto is "Readers are Leaders," and if every child reads daily tghey will truly become leaders. My students have been making progress in their reading. They have developed their fluency and reading comprehension.
In order for my students to continue to make progress over the summer and become leaders, I want to gift each student the book, "So Happy To Know You!" These books will let them know how lucky I was to be their teacher and that I hope they can continue to read.
Reading will help students develop their fluency and comprehension skills. It will help them increase their writing because they are exposed to reading.
