This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I have the privilege of working with 20 amazing second graders who love to read and write! They have already made so many gains in their learning, and we are in need of new materials for them to use in their independent literacy centers!

Students will use these materials to make books, play games, practice spelling, and read in our classroom library.

We are also looking forward to adding some new flexible seating options that will help some of our more wiggly friends to be comfortable and successful during this time.
