My Project
As an educator, I know there’s nothing more powerful than having the right tools for the job. In my first grade classroom, that means providing students with resources that support their individual learning styles, whether they need to see it, feel it, or do it to truly grasp a concept.
I teach in a Title I NYC public school where my students are bright, curious, and eager to learn.
Many of them face challenges that can stand in the way of their success, including limited access to books and learning materials at home.
With your support, I can provide hands-on math tools such as magnetic ten-frame boards, write-and-wipe number lines that turn abstract concepts into concrete understanding and interlocking cubes that build on number concepts. These resources not only build skills, but they also build confidence.
When students have the right tools, they thrive. Thank you for helping me give them what they need to succeed.
