My Students

I teach first grade at a public school. I have 24 eager to learn first grade students who keep me entertained and busy all day! I love how excited they are to come to school every day and try new things.

My students love to see what we will be learning each day and they are truly an inspiration.

They are an amazing group of students and make each day so rewarding to be their teacher. I love to see their face when they learn something new.

My Project

These materials will help me facilitate small group instruction to help my struggling students in reading and writing. The individual whiteboards will be used by students to make and write words with vowel sounds we will be learning. The sight word center will help them learn sight words and read sentences.This will help with reading fluency and filling in the blank of a sentence. The sheet protectors will be used to write on during math, reading, and writing. The magnetic letters will be used to make and read words either sight words that we are working on or different long vowel combinations.
