My students need large easel pads, printer ink, post its, reading books, reading and writing teacher resource books, chalkboard clips, hot glue gun, glue sticks, and scissors.

My Students

The majority of my students come from low, socio-economic backgrounds and 85% qualify for free/reduced price school lunch.

My diverse kindergarteners represent a plethora of cultures and linguistic backgrounds and all of them have something special to share with us!

My students are: Latino, Arabic, Vietnamese, Filipino, Nepali, African American, Italian, Filipino/Caucasian/Cambodian, and American Indian/Caucasian.

They are all energetic and eager learners in our Kindergarten classroom. We are learning to be safe, responsible, and respectful in our classroom and school!

My Project

The large easel pads will be used for creating our reading and writing workshop anchor charts detailing specific literacy skills and lessons.

The reading and writing resources will give my students and literacy activities to build on their growing knowledge.

The skills will help them grow into stronger readers and writers.

We will create illustrations and write stories by using the post it notes to plan ideas, the chalkboard clips and printer ink to display our published stories and illustrations, and the glue and scissors to add more details to our stories. My students will be excited and geared to read more books and write more interesting stories will all of these resources!
