This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for a stuffed animal collection for our classroom library that the students can hold during story time, or to use as a reading buddy that they can practice reading aloud to.

Some of my struggling readers do not even like to practice reading aloud because they get embarrassed when they have difficulty with a word.

I feel like these stuffed animals will provide comfort to our students and work as a safe, non-judgmental friend that they can practice their reading skills with. Thank you for your consideration.
