My Students

My students bring such joy to my life and I am thankful to be their teacher. We seriously have some of the best students in our small- town elementary school. I know that every school and every teacher says that, but I know just how amazing our students are.

My students are always ready to try something new, because of that, I want to be a better teacher every day.

I want to grow with them!

Our school is over sixty percent free or reduced price lunch, but together our community, parents and staff work to get us everything we need.

I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.

My Project

Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we do Language Arts centers. These centers allow me the chance to give four different groups of students differentiated activities that meet their needs. This also gives me the opportunity to meet with small groups of students and focus in on the skills they need to work at.

My students love Language Arts centers!

They are sad when we don't have them.

ELA centers are truly about my students. They are what is best for them and they really do meet them where they are at. These books are universal text and also extensions to our lessons. Currently we only have 4-5 copies of each book in our lessons and this project would add many additional copies. More books in the hands of our students is better.
