My students need new classroom library books to help encourage them to read every day. Many of the books in our current library are worn out and torn, which discourages the students from using them.
My students are an amazing group who enjoy being at school. We are located in the city, with limited resources. In order to give these students as many opportunities as possible, we need your help.
My students are eager to learn and succeed, but many of them lack the resources to be successful in their learning.
Many of our students come from economically disadvantaged homes and need support in more ways than just academics. We aim to make our school a place that students want to come back to every day.
My Project
My students love reading and are constantly in our library switching out books to read something new. Unfortunately, many of our current library books in our room are old, torn up, and missing covers or pages.
These new books will not only help encourage my students to read books they haven't read before, but they will also make my students feel like they deserve new books.
They are more likely to treat the books in our library with respect when they are new books. My students are also more likely to pick up a new book to read if it is a new one, they all want to be the first to read it!
