My Students
My students enjoy reading, but need high interests books to keep the momentum going. Several students have not yet discovered books that fire up their imaginations. With your help, this could be the year the magic happens!
My wonderful students come from a variety of backgrounds.
They are third graders who have a love of learning. Many struggle with reading while some are excelling. They have diverse experiences in life but all come together when it's time to learn. They work well together and are curious learners.
My Project
These mystery books are on various levels to meet the needs of all my students. They go along with the mystery unit we will explore, but don't have enough books for. My students will share these books with all of the other third graders at my school. That is about 110 students in all. The students will learn to analyze characters and understand the messages conveyed by the author. They will do this using high interest popular mystery novels. I am also requesting a book shelf to keep our books organized.
These materials will change my students' lives by creating the magic to instill a life-long love of reading.
Do you remember the first time you fell in love with a good book? Everyone should experience that. It only takes getting hooked on a good book that makes you want to keep reading. I believe this popular series will do that, but we need your help.
