My Project

School days are busy! Most days, teachers struggle to achieve a full lesson plan. That leaves little time to just read. Our district also has plans to cut our librarians this year.

This project will help me expand my read-aloud library with books from authors such as James Patterson and Linda Sue Park.

Our district is proposing to cut librarians this year. This project will give me new books to share with students. Each day, I begin with a chapter. Former students have commented that they have missed reading chapter books with me. It is my hope to help students recognize the power of books.
